Sting Ray Handle Bars Repurposed
By: A Cat Eye Girl  -  3/23/2011

Last week Agent 99 found herself digging through an old shed, finding mostly parts and pieces to things that are long gone.  Looking for repurposing inspiration, out she comes with a pair of handlebars to what appears to be the perfect match to the ones her 1960s Schwinn Stingray had -- complete with turquoise hand grips!

Instantly, she sees a towel bar instead of just an old pair of Schwinn handlebars.  Easily repurposed, the stem can be mounted, with a "u" bracket found at every hardware store, on a bathroom or kitchen wall!  They are cool, retro and functional again without the bicycle frame or chain!

Bicycle wheels, handlebars, sprockets, chain guards, forks, frames . . .  lot's of cool bicycle parts to repurpose and some of them are chrome too!

Have any clever ideas for repurposing old bicycle parts and pieces?  Share them here!
